Wood cold-pressed coconut (thengai ennai) oil from Valluvam is pressed slowly in a wooden press. It has a fresh coconut aroma and is used both in the kitchen and for hair and skin care, as in many Tamil and Kerala homes.
Coconut oil naturally turns solid below about 24 degrees C and melts again at room temperature. To use solid oil, stand the bottle in warm water for a few minutes. Keep it closed and away from sunlight.
